His experiences with the Navy included performing open heart, cardiovascular, cancer, and trauma surgery not only in conventional hospitals but also in tent hospitals in war zones and aboard various ships. Now, Dr. Kindelan is using his unique experience and skill set to focus on providing state-of-the-art, minimally invasive techniques in Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
Training & recognition
Dr. Kindelan completed his general surgery residency at the Bethesda Naval Hospital. He went on to do a second residency in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at Northwestern University Medical Center. Following training, Dr. Kindelan served his country practicing surgery in the U.S. Navy.
